Partners Lisa Vaccaro and Chef Abby Harmon opened Caiola’s Restaurant November 11, 2005 in Portland’s West End.
Their philosophy is simple: Create an atmosphere where friends, family and neighbors can come together to celebrate life’s milestones or just to share a meal created by Abby with the finest, freshest ingredients available.
Caiola’s prides itself on using local farms such as Laughing Stalk, Caldwell and Stonecipher and local purveyors like Sunset Acres, Harbor Fish and Upstream- just to name a few.
Caiola’s family begins with its name, which comes from Lisa’s great grandfather Augustino Caiola of Napoli. From the time you walk through the door, savor your meal and until you say goodnight you feel part of the family. You will even find the staff dining here on their days off.
Monday - Thursday 5:30 to 9:30; and Friday and Saturday 5:30 to 10:00
Bar opens at 5:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday
Sunday brunch is served from 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m.
